"As a Druid, Complementary Therapist and disabled business owner, I wanted to try and do my small part to make beautiful natural, ethical soaps and skin haircare products and reduce the need for plastics and unnecessary packaging. In turn, I want to try and offset what I do and give back to the earth and contribute to the reforestation by purchasing trees with contributions from every order placed by a customer."

PD Brown Storyteller
"I work as a countryside ranger for a local authority in Scotland. I am also a semi-professional story-teller, that is to say I tell traditional stories orally, from memory, to live audiences. I have produced, amongst others, a C.D. collection of four tales about trees. I have also written two collections of poetry. The first, 'A Crown of Runes' is a sequence of sonnets, one for each rune in the Anglo-Saxon runic alphabet. Poems about the birch, the yew, the oak and the ash feature as all these trees' names were also used as the names of runes. My second collection, 'Dark Fruit of an Ash' concerns mainly poems on birds, trees and animals, the loss of our wildlife and the otherness of the everyday. "

I am captivated by Nature.
From the beauty of a tree in full leaf, to the bare branches of Winter, from the full bloom flower, to the withered and dead seed heads. I am never happier than when i am outside walking through the woods or beautiful countryside of the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. I just want to capture the life cycle of the plants and trees in paint and print, using a combination of techniques, i instinctively paint and create, i find unique ways of capturing the beauty of the forms in their natural environment.
My paintings evoke a sense of calm, peace, and tranquillity - the sounds and scents of the Countryside flow around you, as if sat in a summer meadow, or wandering through an ancient woodland. I sell my work through the SOTA gallery in Witney Oxfordshire.

Hi! I’m Annie Louvaine, I’m an artist and have lived and worked all my life in the region of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Inspiration for my Paintings, Illustrations, Graphic Design and Folk Craft comes from the nature and rural landscape around me and especially the magical landscape of woodland, moor and streams. I can often be found hugging trees! Who wouldn’t? They hug back!
I have been studying the ancient folklore of the Celtic British tradition for many years and have a special interest in the history and mythology of the Celtic Tree Ogham. Oh the blessings and the wonder of our native trees, they have so many enchanting and wise tales to tell!
