Tree Blessings
Blessings on the trees that at night hold sleeping birds and those that sing to the sleepless tossing in their beds bringing comfort to those that weep. Holding their arms out wide to hold the rains’ dance in the dark. Blessings on the trees that stand patiently outside our windows waiting for us to heed their presence and the wildness that waits within and without. Blessings on those that heal be standing still offering the songs of their hearts to those that need it the most. Blessings on the tall ones who stand silent asking for so little in return.

Minerva Blessings
Oh, Minerva great goddess who pays no mind to the minds of others leaping out from your fathers’ head! You the wise one, creating beauty and upholding the olive tree as a reminder to humans of the only true way to be. Bless you with your owl soft wise ways that swoop in to overcome firey thoughts that threaten to split open our heads with too many human woes. Bless you of the nightingale song and medicine to bring balm to the sick. May humans learn to listen to your wise wisdom and plant trees and offer an olive branch to nature that we might live in peace with our planet once more.
Tree Prayers
May we learn to hold sleeping birds safe, may we branch out in heart and mind. Let suffering leave, making space for peace and being at one with our world. In the night when all seems asleep let the trees whisperings and the bird songs drifting in through windows mend broken dreams and broken hearts. And when rains come let them wash away all cares leaving only wonder for the world behind.
