Tree Prayer
Great Tall Trees we see you standing there in your magnificence bowing down to none. Even though storms may come that might strike you down, still you stand. Fully present, no retreat. Roots in the ground and arms stretched out to the sky. Lit up by the light or stood in shadows you remain as you always are, Great Tall Trees. You harbour owls in storms, carrying their calls from some dark heart of you, part of you still in the lightnings’ flash. May you continue to stand evermore. May you continue to hold secret places for owls, those spirits who are big enough to sing to the lightning gods, letting their songs ride the thundering voices of the Ones Who Sit In The Clouds.
Nut Goddess Blessing
Nut, Sky Clad One dressed in Stars, shining souls strung upon your body, we witness you. Great Cosmos, Great Arching One, the One Who Rules Infinity blessings on the time you gift us humans that we may attempt to live in some small way those things that come naturally to trees and owls. May your beauty continue to guide owls across the night sky, guided by the path of stars that light up like a river across the dark vaults of the heavens. You, the One We Cannot Know, you, the Great Mystery, may it always be that humans have the chance to look up and wonder in awe of your ever changing face. Let the stars be your jewels ever more.

Prayer
May we humans, small against storm clouds, learn our place. That there are those more mighty than we, who can teach us beauty or terror depending on where we choose to sit on this earth. Let the lightning strike be one of ‘Awen,’ that ancient druidic illumination of inspiration. Let us be like the trees who stand as only themselves come what may. May we humans witness the wonder. May we realise those times to be silent, and stand knowing that we are just one tiny flash of light in an infinite sky of stars.
