Shakti and Llyn Allaw, the Cauldron of Flowers

The Cosmic Rainbow of Life - Shakti and Llyn Allaw, the Cauldron of Flowers

She is a rainbow of energy, the Enlightened One.

One of the oldest representations found dates back to Paleolithic times dating from 9,000 to 8,000 BC.

Once again right on cue comes the right goddess for the right time. A being of light for the time of the summer solstice. She is the embodiment of all our energy centres, the chakras, the rainbow cauldrons. A cosmic colourful egg in a sea of blue.

About these wild wisdom soul stories. You take this as you wish, as a mythic exploration, spiritual gift, positive psychological programming whatever … but I offer it to you in the hope that it will serve you some good purpose. The tree teachings, forest bathing meditations and wild wisdom soul stories are not pre-planned, I don’t have the year ahead mapped out with neat little diagrams and to do lists and pre-prepared old last years’ materials. No ... these are the fresh green shoots of inspirations sent forth from the trees. I don’t care what your belief system is … in times of mass extinction, and climate change, my conviction is that if we connect personally with trees and nature this can only serve both us and the #earth well … I hope you agree. These stories are ancient but they are as relevant now as they ever were. They come alive when we interact with them. They are the history and archaeology of nature, culture, of our souls and so much more. But they are not dead relics they are living right now. We are a world communiTree. When we connect with wisdom from across the world we create new opportunities for learning. Each being and story featured each week is of course a brief glimpse. If you feel drawn to a particular one you could study it in greater depth and pay homage to the culture within which it arose.

Llyn Allaw

Llyn Allaw is the mirror image, a cauldron of blue water surrounded by a rainbow of flowers. From water emerges life, the original cosmic soup radiating all colours. The plants from the smallest flower to the tallest trees sing songs of earth secrets. The realm of crystals and layers of time, rock borne. Folds and shifts heaving and buckling clothed anew each spring. Flowers birthed from water, earth, air, and light.

Like us.

Shakti

Beyond all else there is nothing to do except just ‘be’. Shakti is pure energy, pure light. If we could see like the bees see, then we would see flowers as pure energy and light too. If we could see ourselves as Shakti does we would be as flowers. Moving, changing, waxing waning but ever present as beings of pure light. Lying on the ground we connect and merge with the earth and all her elements.

Shakti is the energy responsible for creation and destruction, and the continuing cycle of the universe. Seen as a female responsible for creating, yet also as a male stimulating consciousness. The power of Shakti is also represented as Ardhanarishvara, a half male, half female deity. Beyond our own small labels, we are vast. As the creatrix, the Earth Mother she is.

The power that nurtures the seed and brings it to fruition. Arthur Barham historian.

Songs of the Cosmos

Just like plants we are songs of the cosmos.

Out beyond right thinking and wrong thinking (as Rumi says), lies the power of everything. The great river out of which all emerges and returns to.

Like trees we humans stand over all. Like trees we could connect all realms, all elements if we were conscious enough. Plants are the Rainbow Keepers, they are the alchemists of the elements. If we truly saw ourselves as beings of light made manifest like flowers and trees we would treat this life and walk the earth very differently.
