The Pool and Prayers and Blessings For Change and the Cycles of Life
Trees Prayers, Blessings, Ah Puch and Change
Inspired by the previous The Pool indoor nature connection experience and the ancient wild wisdom story of Ah Puch
Tree Prayer
Blessings on the trees, transformers of death into life whose roots reach into life rich soils and hold them changed into resplendent gowns of green. Those whose branches reach out across sky and water, write messages in reflections that dance. As they move may our hearts leap with the miracle of life. May they continue vigorous and vibrant in their growth as inspiration to us all.
These interfaith prayers and blessings celebrate our sacred connection with nature and the living miracle of our planet Earth. You are free to add the name of your god/dess as appropriate and to add with greetings and endings as you wish, for example ending with Amen or Blessed Be etc etc. Be it positive psychological programming through gratitude or a magical offering, it is up to you to decide. They are based on the tree teachings and wild wisdom stories. AST focuses on positiviTree for all inspired by #trees and #nature. We are a green and growing CommuniTree and together we are a forest of love and friendship. You can join us for free here on this website. Ah Puch
It does not feel quite right to ‘bless’ a god known primarily for death and fear. So instead we shall pay deep respect with the intention that we should be spared the greater challenges of life!
Oh, transformer of life into death, bodies into bones, we acknowledge your presence. We see death transformed into the rich humus of life, dark rich soil for tree roots to grow through, transforming the dead into nourishment. Taking the dark days and relinquishing fear, unfurling green banners of triumph and life and light. We bless those ones who are dearly departed knowing they are now part of the song of creation. We celebrate the waters of life and pay honour to all of nature in her myriad forms.
Human Prayer
When change comes, as it must, may it be gentle as it passes. May we all learn to look to the trees and their capacity to withstand cold winters emerging once more into Spring.
Blessings
